The international peace symbol, also designated by holding two fingers up spread wide apart was a symbol used in this video. Like so much of the music we listened to back then, it originated in Britain and was made up of a circle divided by a vertical line and two smaller angled lines meant to represent the semaphore letters N and D for nuclear disarmament.

The rest of the story: I don't remember a lot about this one. I shot it at a school near Hapeville, GA, I think, but I could be wrong. I think one of our Now Explosion Facebook Group members was actually there when I shot it, so maybe she can identify the school. I went to the school just before classes ended with no other intent than to find scenes that illustrated the song by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. I thought this the perfect age group since these kids were about to follow in their parents footsteps, bringing with them all the good and bad traits which they would soon pass on to their own kids. I only had a couple of hours to shoot it. It worked reasonably well.
